Thunder Eggs are forged in the cosmic fire of volcanic activity, the available elements form a rhyolite bubble, trapping pure silica, resulting in either agate or quartz to be constructed, and sometimes both! Through filtered heat, a difference in pressure will decide whether a microcrystal structure (agate) or visible quartz crystals will form within the bubble.
